At WeCureBlindness, our mission is to bring clarity and vision to the lives of the underserved in Southern Honduras. With a decade-long commitment to providing essential eye care services, we are now embarking on a new journey. Our goal is to build a state-of-the-art Cataract Surgical Center, offering hope to those affected by blindness due to cataracts. Through compassion, dedication, and the power of community, we aim to transform lives by restoring sight and empowering individuals to see a brighter future.
Cataract surgeries generally take on average 20 minutes, and only a few days recovery with an eye covering. This allows the elders of the community to continue helping raise their grand kids and help earn money for their family. Let's build something together in Honduras!
